Head of Growth & Marketing — SALERRU Inc.
SALERRU Inc. is building a trust-first peer-to-peer marketplace focused on safer listings, clearer exchanges, stronger payments, and a better buying and selling experience.
We are seeking a Head of Growth & Marketing to help build SALERRU’s brand, go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition engine, and launch strategy from the ground up. This is an early leadership opportunity for someone who wants meaningful ownership and the ability to influence how a new marketplace reaches and serves its first customers.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and lead SALERRU’s overall growth and marketing strategy
• Build the go-to-market plan for marketplace launch
• Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies
• Lead brand positioning, messaging, content, and campaign development
• Develop social media and digital marketing strategies
• Design and evaluate growth experiments across acquisition channels
• Establish marketing KPIs, reporting, and analytics
• Work closely with the founders, product, design, frontend, backend, and payments teams
• Help establish SALERRU’s early marketing systems, processes, and standards
• Develop strategies for attracting both buyers and sellers to the marketplace
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, brand strategy, or go-to-market leadership
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition and marketplace growth
• Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in an early-stage startup environment
• Comfortable building strategy and execution processes from the ground up
• Marketplace, e-commerce, consumer technology, or startup experience is a plus
Work Arrangement
This position is based in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Marketing may have hybrid flexibility, but this is not a fully remote position.
Current Compensation Structure
SALERRU is currently bootstrapped and pre-revenue. At this stage, the role is structured as a 1099 independent-contractor position with equity compensation rather than cash salary. SALERRU intends to introduce cash compensation as the company launches and begins generating revenue. Specific equity terms are discussed during the interview and offer process.

Candidates willing to relocate to Minnesota are welcome to apply. SALERRU does not currently provide relocation assistance.
